Dear NPS Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Normandy Park School! This year, we will continue to build upon the strong mission and vision of our school and community. By working together, we will ensure that all our students are provided the instruction and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our theme for the upcoming school year is Normandy Park School: Once Upon a Time — Where Stories Begin. Under this theme, we are empowering our students to see themselves as the brave authors of their own educational journeys, where every single day brings a fresh, new page of possibility.

Throughout the year, we will weave the power of storytelling—from timeless fables and fairytales to legendary mythology—into all academic subjects. Our students will learn to embrace "plot-twist" problem-solving when challenges arise, cultivate a strong growth mindset, and collaborate with their peers to create heroic solutions. We can’t wait to celebrate their creativity and hard work during our student-authored publishing parties throughout the year!
